INTENSIONAL PARTICLE <ONLINE VERSION>

When waterfalls and rivers are viewed from a distance they appear to retain static shapes yet when zooming in on the same objects at a microscopic level we see that they are made up of incessant movements such as swells, vortex waves and cross currents. Based on this creative concept in Intensional Particle Umeda reinterprets particles in space as not static molecules but rather as
"active particles (or mass points)" and visualizes in space the "intentional force" that the particles conceal.
Originally created as a dance performance “Intensional Particle” has been recreated in an online version.
Hiroaki Umeda has developed a choreographic system and method of movement that can be applied not only to contemporary dance but also to other dance styles. Its goal is to make the most of each dancer's individuality and strength through system and method.
