The Animated Dance Research Center supported by Hangars Numériques produces in 2019/2020 a contemporary animated dance video,in two dimensions, in the form of a music video.

In a round trip between music and dance, the project seeks to deepen the contemporary movement through the living music that is jazz.

The choreography is based on the title "Flyin'over Ocean" taken from the latest album by Reunionese keyboardist Patt Burter. Taken as a trio, accompanied by Julien Decaux on double bass and Pascal Eugénie on drums, the composition is enriched with a new arrangement.

In a process of exchange between music and dance, Nily Araux builds a choreography, rich in all the sensibilities at work for this production.

This work constitutes a key stage for the production of an animated dance in 2 dimensions. In order to share the experience as closely as possible with the authors and the team, Hangars Numériques invites the public to attend the restitution and recording session in PVR as part of the festival.
