There is often no logical explanation for this unique insight, besides the theory of extrasensory perception. The theory supports that those who obtain the power of “clear-sightedness” can perceive events or people that are “distant”, in space or in time (past or present).

Clairvoyance is not limited to predicting the future. Those who claim to see the future may have gifts in precognition and retrocognition (seeing the past or remote-viewing). This can also be the perception of events happening beyond the “normal” realism of perception.

BIOGRAPHY

Caroline MacCaull (she/they) is a queer Vancouver-based interdisciplinary artist living and working on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations. Through the amalgamation of movement, video, new media and technology, her practice questions, experiments and converges ideas between different mediums to rediscover how they can cohesively coalesce. She is a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University School for the Contemporary Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. During her short exposure to the Vancouver interdisciplinary art scene she is lucky to have had her work supported by The Scotiabank Dance Center for both their 12 Minutes Max & Digital Dance programming, Co.ERASGA, Shooting Gallery Performance Series and Vines Arts Festival. She has also been artist-in-residence at What Lab in Vancouver and LEÑA Artist Residency on Galiano Island, BC. Caroline is a member of Chimerik 似不像 Collective, working in interdisciplinary research and creation.
