Towards a post-humanity? Dispersion of hybrid bodies & expressiveness
This fourth edition is still deeply marked by the exceptional situation in which we live, on a global scale. If last year, artists in animated dance sought in their works to redefine our place as living beings in the digital world, certain authors selected in 2021 push the questions further: in particular the gradual disappearance of bodies, dissolved in ICT and a quest for humanity that would succeed in transgressing our reduction to pixels and simple digital data. The distance vector becomes a creative parameter and the immersive place of the spectator arrives at the gates of a new post-internet era.
The authors question their own role as a creator. They are the actors of this new crossing so characteristic of the animated dance genre.
